Mauro Biello: a man of ‘Impact’

By David Pye, Clearfacts, May 30, 2011

Surrounded by people who helped push him to the limit, Mauro Biello has always been willing to do what it takes to succeed.

With great pride for having contributed to an historic era in Quebec soccer, Mauro Biello retired after 16 seasons in Montreal, where he savoured three championships in 1994, 2004 and 2009.

Now, as assistant coach of the Impact, Biello hopes to “have a decisive influence on the course of events”, as the team name would suggest.

In his opinion, the recipe for success that has served him well transcends the soccer field and can be employed by any youngster who wishes to follow in his footsteps.
