Vox Pop: What’s the best form of payment abroad?

Given that we don’t always know which form of payment is most cost-effective when traveling abroad, unforeseen costs can ruin a vacation.

For the majority of respondents, credit cards are the currency of choice when traveling abroad.

However, it appears that debit card use is on the rise, while cash remains king for paying incidental expenses.
